1. One year position of IT support in stellar modelling

We are advertising a one year fixed term position of IT support/software developer within the Theoretical Stellar Astrophysics and Asteroseismology group of the STAR Institute of the University of Liège (STAR), under the supervision of Prof. Marc-Antoine Dupret, Dr. Valérie Van Grootel and Dr. Gaël Buldgen. The successful applicant must have a master degree in informatics or engineering (specialized in IT support) and will work on the development and optimization of the asteroseismic modelling software suite of the Liège Stellar Astrophysics group. The softwares are written in Fortran, Python and Java, therefore an advanced knowledge of at least 2 of the three programming langages is required. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with other group members.
